Paisley Prints was a big hit! I think because of it's versatility and ease of the card! For the tree, I just stamped the whole image in Old Olive ink, then went over the trunk with a Chocolate Chip Stamp Pad before Stamping the image on the paper.

I just love this card! I actually got this design from a fellow demonstrator - Monica Davis. This card pulls together so quickly!! I just love this impressions folder, Northern Flurry, then I just added a bit of bling with the Rhinstones!

Another fun card from my Stamp a Stack! This stamp set is an oldie, but goodie! I love to paper piece the Christmas Tree! It makes it pop I think, and actually easier than coloring!

I can not pass up those sweet little boy scouts selling popcarn out side the grocery store!! Of course I thought, if I buy caramel corn, I can make cute projects out of this little $10 bag of Caramel corn, and so that is what I chose, and the above project is one that I made!! You can tell I had a little more time on my hands, I actually rolled the image 3 times, and cut out the leaves and words so they would be different colors.

This little light of mine.....

This is a quick and easy fall luminary! It is a piece of card stock cut ar 4 1/4" x 10 1/12", then scored at 2 1/2", 5", 7 1/2" and 10". The wholes are cut out with the 1 3/8" square, you center is to each section, go up as far as you can and punch! Do it from the top and bottom - they meet, and make a great rectangle!!

This is a page of my son Garrett who is currently serving in Afghanistan, we are so proud of him!!

He is safe and doing well, we are so thankful!! We continue to keep the families of all of his buddies who have lost there lives in the Ft hood shootings and in Afghanistan in our prayers!!

About this page....

At the top left he is in his gunners hatch, then top right, he is sleeping while they are waiting for a rescue after a 30+ hour mission, bottom left, is just a couple weeks ago, he was home on his 2 week R&R so I was thrilled to have all my boys home together at the same time, along wiht Garrett's wife Kristen!! Jake and Eric are both away at college now and in Army ROTC. The ironic thing is, my husband missed that day we were all together, because he was recalled by the Coast Guard to the Oil Spill. He is now home, and got to spend quailty time with Garrett before he went back to Afghanistan, just missed the boys leaving for college!

Caramel Apples anyone?

I don't know about you, but I am a huge fan of caramel apples! One of my favorite treats is to melt a handful of caramels with a teaspoon of water stir until smooth, and dip my apples in it!!

Yay, I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And so happy to be!!

I have been out of the stamping loop!! My house has been crazy with graduation, etc. I also had to get a new computer and a new camera - and you would think I would be able to figure them out but it took me a while!!

Anyway, that is my story, now on to stamping, yay!!!!!! These are the projects we will be making in my class, "Summer Fun" this month! A fun variety! The Patriotic project is tile coasters!

Patriotic Treat

Coming from a military wife and a military mom, this is a very special day for me!! Although it is a great day for families to gather and BBQ, my heart goes out to those honoring family members or friends who have died serving our country!! My prayers are with you, and also with those who family members are serving away from home at this time. Thank you for your sacrifices!!

I love to make patriotic treats!! I send them to my sons troop in Afghanistan, give them to friends, I can make them all year round!! My son has an all guys in his troop (due to what they do) and I know the candy comes out, and these go right in the trash, but at least they know, somebody took the time to make them something and show they are being thought of!!

A week away, but I am back!!

"Memorial Day BUNCO Blast"

I have been on a break from blogging, but I am back!! Last night I had my Memorial Day Bunco Blast!! It was so much fun!! It was delayed 1 night due to a disaster on our local freeway, but I still had a full house!! (I have never done that before, but when more than 1/2 the guest had no way to get here, I go on the phone, and every guest could come the next night, and was happy to change, so I did!!) Anyway, above are photos of my BUNCO cards, score pads and favors!! All prizes were Stampin' Up! like glue sticks, buttons, ribbon, paper, etc. The main prizes were gift certificates!! It was so much fun, I love my Bunco events, and getting together with my Stampin' Friends!!
