Joy Blocks

Stampin' Up had this adorable project in an upcoming publication! Isn't it so cute!
Below are the supplies and instructions they provided!

Supplies used...
  • Crushed Curry card stock: 4" long strip
  • Old Olive textured card stock: four at 9-3/4" x 12"
  • Whisper White textured card stock: 2" x 1-1/2"; four at
  • Crushed Curry 1/2" polka-dot grosgrain ribbon: 4"
  • 2-1/4" x 2-1/4"
  • Chocolate Chip 1-1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon: 30"
  • Linen thread
  • Décor Elements Décor Blocks
  • Chocolate Holiday Mix Décor Elements
  • Real Red Holiday Mix Décor Elements
  • Clear rhinestone brads
  • Clear buttons
  • Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Mat Pack
  • Paper-piercing tool
  • 3/16" Corner Rounder punch
  • Stapler and staples

Instructions
  1. Score Old Olive textured card stock vertically at 2-13/16" and 5-3/4". Score Old Olive textured card stock horizontally at 1-3/4", 3-1/2", 6-1-4", and 9-1/8". Remove left side and right sides of card stock down to first row of three squares, creating an upside down "T."
  2. Lay Décor Elements Décor Block on card stock, and adhere. Wrap block, adhering each side.
  3. Repeat steps one and two for remaining blocks.
  4. Round corners of Whisper White card stock pieces using 3/16" Corner Rounder punches. Decorate as desired using Holiday Mix Décor Elements and embellishments.
